Fulfillment Specialist


Join our fast-growing Fulfillment Team at our Flagship store as a Fulfillment Specialist and be an integral part of our commitment to delivering excellent customer service.  As one of the Fulfillment Specialists, you will be responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping all online orders with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Your upbeat and positive personality will ensure that customer orders are fulfilled correctly, on time, and in alignment with our brand standards, providing above and beyond Customer Service.  Excellent customer service & a positive attitude are paramount to Porter Lyons culture. We expect these principles to mirror the candidate’s daily work ethic and drive.

  • Overall accountability for fulfillment operations
    • Excellence in correct Order fulfillment, with no wrong orders going out  
    • Product quality control
    • Accountability for backstock organization 
    • Checking in with Director of Hospitality weekly  
  • Inventory management of packaging and supply inventory levels
  • Manage all outgoing shipments and packaging standards 
  • Research and implement new systems for higher efficiency


    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to use a computer and other electronic devices for extended periods of time
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, as necessary, to access inventory and storage areas
    • Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as bending, reaching, and grasping
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
    • Ability to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed


    Position will be based at Porter Lyons flagship store in the heart of the French Quarter.  This position is part-time position, with option to become full time.  Benefits and optional 401K savings.
