Porter Lyons is a fine jewelry house inspired by the mystical heritage of New Orleans. Founded in 2012 by Ashley Ann Lyons Porter, the brand honors a family legacy dating back to 1866, crafting timeless pieces infused with the city’s spirit.
Meaning, pressed into matter, becomes tangible across time. It is why we still understand a scarab carved four thousand years ago — the form outlasts the language.Porter Lyons exists in service of that idea. We design to preserve what holds us together: the cultures we inherit, the natural world we belong to, and the balance between them.Every piece is made to be kept, worn, and passed on. Our work is a quiet argument against sameness, expressed through every material we touch.

meet the designer
A GIA-certified jeweler and designer based in New Orleans, she founded her namesake label, Porter Lyons, in 2012 shaped by a deep connection to the city and its history. Her family’s roots trace back to 1866, through I.L. Lyons & Co., a historic wholesale druggist.
After earning her Master’s from Tulane and beginning her career in finance, Porter trained at FIDM and worked within the corporate offices of Balenciaga and Ralph Lauren before returning to New Orleans to establish her brand.
Her work exists between the raw and the refined—guided by natural elements, cultural symbolism, and a quiet sense of rebellion.
